| Debi
Katsmar is a mother-of-two, residing in rural St. Catharines,
Ontario Canada where she enjoys working and riding the horses.
Caring for seven horses over and above the businesses, plus the
farm responsibilities, keeps her extremely busy. When not working,
Debi trains the horses, teaches children and adults to ride and
shows the horses at western shows throughout Niagara Region.
She
has been fortunate to earn a living through being creative and
enjoying the outdoors, turning spare-time into enjoyable money-making
ventures.

As a child, Debi's teachers told her to become a commercial artist
when she grew up. Today, that translates to a graphic artist.
Debi has been working in the advertising, marketing and print
industry for over 20 years.
Working for a local ad agency, Debi's training involved typesetting,
copywriting, cut and pasting and photography -- all pre-computers.
Eventually, Debi moved on to become a Marketing Manager for a
local security company and then to start her own design and printing
companies.
Today, the businesses have evolved to
Your Design Vehicle (YDV) operating as such since 2001.

Being a
creative person, Debi has been designing crochet patterns, craft
patterns and home decor pieces for many years.
It is only
with the easy sellability through the internet, that Debi is
now turning those patterns into saleable items. Documenting
the many patterns she has created over the years, is a time-consuming
process, especially while developing new patterns, mainly for
the equine industry.
Debi enjoys working with leather and creating art from the leather.
Her work has been displayed in California at the Western Horse
Art Expo, as well as at local stores and events.
